Dr. Pham Hung Cuong is a senior energy expert and Manager at Vietnam Petroleum Institute (VPI), with over 18 years of experience in hydrogen, renewable energy, LNG, decarbonisation, and energy policy. He leads research and advisory initiatives supporting Vietnam’s energy transition and net-zero ambitions. Prior to joining VPI, he spent more than 14 years at Kyushu University, Japan, advancing hydrogen energy research and international collaboration across the clean energy sector.
